Our customer faced a critical challenge with unauthorized online distribution of their watches, in direct violation of contractual agreements. Their distribution network reported instances of online sales occurring on unofficial marketplaces and e-commerce platforms, negatively impacting the brand.

The customer identified two key issues arising from the lack of online sales monitoring and control: revenue loss and a substantial erosion of trust, affecting both B2B relationships with partners and B2C customer confidence in the brand.

Moreover, the unauthorized display and sale of their products at discounted prices on unapproved online platforms as well as counterfeiting, posed a grave threat to their brand reputation and continued growth. Addressing this issue was crucial to maintain the brand's integrity and ensure its ongoing success.

The solution

Smart Protection provided an efficient way to scrap the internet in search for unauthorized online distribution of watches as well as online sales of fake ones, detecting and eliminating more than 15.737 harmful links, on our customer’s behalf.
